Virgin Wines UI Redesign

Website UI, UX and Template Design

As Lead Designer in this project, working along side two additional designers and a team of Front End Developers, I was tasked with devising a new look and feel for the Virgin Wines website which in essence would reflect the message and quality that the company stand for.

Respecting the brand I set about creating a design that conveyed the values, philosophy (and just as importantly) the good-times nature that wine life is all about. The direction was very well received by shareholders, management and the CEO from the start and the changable panels and structure of my design will continue to enhance the customer experience on every visit.

The company wanted to focus on making the site in essence a personal dashboard. Aspects come to life and evolve based on the customers shopping habits and interests. Suggestions appear for them based on things they have ordered previously, review boxes pop up for users to express what they thought of a previous order and a personal online Wine Advisor is on hand at all times to help with any wine related questions or advice.

Migrating from a regular eCommerce website with no size responsiveness to a much more enhanced open community experience, Virgin Wines is set to be significantly easier to navigate, tailor and shop with. I am delighted and privilaged to be at the forefront of this ongoing Virgin Wines website redesign.
